Be patterns, be examples in all countries, places, islands, nations, wherever you come, that your carriage and life may preach among all sorts of people, and to them; then you will come to walk cheerfully over the world, answering that of God in every one.
The creation is eagerly longing for our transformation, for us to be revealed as the children of God, so that in our transformation, the whole cosmos will be restored.
God’s grace isn’t just a one time event. God is always sowing his seed on us, reaching for us with the word of his kingdom.
Jesus teaches that our greatest safety is in fearless participation in God’s reign. This isn’t just theory; we know this from experience.
This is how the harvest grows – not only through our own labor, but through those we help raise up alongside us. Jesus didn’t carry the mission alone; he invested in twelve people who would carry it further. We are called to do the same.
The story of Christianity is not done. We each have an important part to play. What will be your part?
